The Computer Dudes, Inc was asked by a client for an affordable Drone Solution to Enhance their Site Security.

We came up with a low cost "Tethered Drone" System using inexpensive / disposable drones.   We have enhanced our drone system with a tether which allows the drone to safely
hover in place at a fixed height.   The tether version 1.0  allows the drone to fly in weather where other drones cannot.   It also prevents the drone from being taken by a big gust of wind.

We are releasing Version 1.0 to the Public, Corporations, Schools, Government, Real Estate, Small Offices, Construction Sites and Homes.

Computer Dudes Tethered Drone Observation and Security Enhancement:

1) Select a Large Drone with a good camera - A controller and cell phone controls are the best.   We tested several models all under $100.
2) Purchase a 100 foot roll of Paracord - Cut one piece of Paracord to a 50 foot length.  Then cut four 1 foot lengths out of the extra cord.
3) Purchase or make a Stake to drive into the ground with an eyehook.

Proceedure
A) Tie or Secure 1 foot pieces of paracord onto the Drone Landing Gear.    Then tie the pieces together at the other end for the "harness"
B) Tie 50 foot Paracord to bottom of harness
C) Launch Drone - set it to "Maintain Position"
D) Clip or tie paracord to Stake in Ground
E) Depart Area
F) Operate by Phone from safe distance.   Use Phone to capture and send photos, videos, and panorama's

Daytime Operation is recommended, but the same procedure should work at night if you have night cameras on your drone.
After you have the drone you like - buy a spare one or two and you have a full system good for a decade or so.

Go use it to secure your Homes, Businesses, Schools, Construction Sites, Shopping Areas and even at the Beach.

Version 2.0 has a power harness option.    You will have to contact us to purchase version 2.0 and 3.0 or a custom rig.

Most Drones do not require a harness and many have single button functions like launch and land or take panarama or even follow me modes.
You can use these kind of un-tethered drones to do most of the above too - the tether just helps with wind and remote operation.

Every home, school, business and the rest should also have an emergency plan - such as where to gather if there is a fire and multiple exits from the buildings
and properties so the fire department and EMS can get onsite.

The Byars Family Motto is: "Always Prepared" which you can see on our Coat of Arms. -  We share that with you too.

Ah Summer,

Unless you are at the beach - your business may slow in the Summer.

Many companies lay off employees during slow times but not Computer Dudes.    We just plan and make sure everyone uses some of their paid vacation time.

We will be continuing our research projects on LIDAR, AI, Outdoor Supercomputers, and Data Center Efficiency year round.

Yes - we do have room for more clients!.

However unless you are on our client list, you will need to call and qualify.
It is not a sales scam - just tightened security.     We went to a private client list several years ago to improve security for all clients.

Fondest Regards,

So you want to be a Computer Dude?

The word / expression "Dude" is not a reference to being male, female, or whatever, it is a designation of "Skill Level."

When we go surfing - anyone rated "Dude" just means they have the skill to surf safely, do stunts; and did not have to be watched by
the others for group safety..   :)Todd

This is what a "Computer Dude" needs to know to work with one of my companies.in 2023.

Dude Basic Skills - 2023

Can you setup a Single Board Computer (SBC), such as the Raspberry Pi 4B (RPI), to boot off USB 3.1 or faster?
Can you setup a RPI to run in 64 Bit Mode?
Can you setup a RAMDISK on the RPI to run the OS?
Can you setup a RPI as an Apache Web Host?
Can you setup an MySQL or other SQL database on a RPI?
Can you setup a basic HTML only Website?
Can you convert a CSV document to an SQL Database and back again?

Computer Dude Advanced Skills:

Can you cluster RPI's?
Can you load VMware ESXi on a RPI, AMD or INTEL chipsets?
Can you P2V and run Linux Virtual Machines - Workstation and Server on a RPI VMware Sphere?

Computer Dudes Jedi level skills:

Can you identify the chipsets and overclock an RPI or change its functions?
Can you run Aircrack and John the Ripper on RPI? In cluster mode with RPI? Custom rules and Dictionary?
Can you virtualize Droid and Mac operating systems?
Can you setup an RPI as a Router or Virtual Router Cluster?
Can you encrypt data from an HTML or other Web Form before it leaves the workstation and before it enters the database?

Computer Dudes Yoda level skills:

Can you build and manage a large VMware Sphere with active routing and active scanning VMware bots and servers?
Can your servers automatically respond to an attack?
Can you create or work with encryption that is non-standard and to higher quality and security than a current computer encryption no matter what the OS?
Can you do all of the above on an Intel Chipset using Microsoft Virtualization and HyperV?
Can you plan and build a small data center?
Can you repair and reactivate a disaster damaged data center with no power?

These are the BASIC to JEDI / Yoda skill levels of a Computer Dude in 2023.

The 3 Keys to Safe Social Media - Including: Meta (Facebook), LinkedIn, Twitter, Google and all the rest. :)

on 28 Oct 2021  Posted by CorpRattX  Category: Technology  Comments: 0
CDudes_JPG_Logo_for_Art_2020.jpg

The problem with Facebook and other Social Media is not the Algorithm, the extremists, or the hackers - it is the Lack of a "KEYs. "

Three KEYs are needed: better Architecture, better Filters, and a new type of KEY, we will call a "Facts Table." (more on that below)

First Key is better Architecture.

Second Key is better Filters

Third Key is to create a "Facts Table"

A facts table, to let those undecided see both sides; minus the falsehoods or political spin. To appeal to both sides and let everyone cool off with a little reality.  This "Third Key," a "Facts Table," briefly expresses both sides of an argument, or topic, or keyword: but is filtered for spin and misrepresentations.

The 3 Keys to safe, secure, social media in 2021.

Gordo-8: A Systems and Pricing Review

on 19 Aug 2021  Posted by CorpRattX  Category: Technology  Comments: 2
20210813_181855.jpg

The Computer Dudes, Inc's research on Single Board Computers, SBC's, began in the 1990s.   SBC's use very little electricity.  In the 1990s SBC's were only used for traffic signs and such.  The first SBC Computer Dudes used was a 80846.

For the last 3 years we have developed and are in production with the Gordo-8 and Gordo-12 Series.   The number beside the name indicates how many computers are in the cluster.
The Gordo Series uses a round core which allows for many motherboards to be run in a cluster or as separate servers.

Gordo-8 Base Configuration

Node Zero: Control Node
Node One: Apache Server
Node Two:  Samba 4 Server with 1 Tb SSD, USB 3.1
Node Three:  Samba Node (controlled by Samba4 Server)
Node Four: Raspberrian Server or Workstation
Node Five: Backup Server for Files, Data and Video
Node Six:  CUPS / Print Server
Node Seven:  Routing and Security Server

Base Pricing

Gordo-8 Monolithic Solar:  $9,750

Gordo-8 Standard plug in / indoor version:  $5,750

It has been a rough 7 days. Starting Last Friday 2 Major Storms hit Tallahassee, Florida.
Most of the area was without power for a couple of days.
Today I completed my storm cleanup and delivered the last of the emergency supplies to those on my list.
Everyone is safe and recovery had begun.
Thanks to all who helped, get some rest and family time when you can.

It does not really matter where you are in Florida or the SE United States you are subject to the weather and power / internet failure even with triple redundant systems.
I just lost a nice post for this website when went to post it and the Internet blinked. Then the power blinked. Now its raining.
In 15 minutes the sun will be out again. Crazy Summer Weather!
